Cucumber Food DesignCucumber Food Design is based in London, but will happily travel anywhere in the UK or beyond for one-off events or for more extensive work. We continue to grow apace, a success we attribute to the consistent support of our regular clients, fantastic suppliers and our exacting attention to detail.
Our clients include private families, institutions and charities, and large and small companies from diverse sectors including fashion, film, art and finance. Our existing clients book us again and again, and we’re always delighted to offer ideas and hear from any new client for any type of event or circumstance. Each event and client receives an entirely bespoke service, and no request or whim is questioned! Cucumber Food Design is run by Annabel, who trained in classic Cordon Bleu cuisine in 2003 at Tante Marie School of Cookery, before cooking and travelling all over the world absorbing exciting techniques and ideas. She also achieved Merit in her WSET Level 3 Wine exams at the West London Wine School, a passion she loves to explore with clients, and she and her team can recommend and supply wines for any event. Annabel started off cooking in ski chalets, Highland lodges and private houses whilst accepting offers to cater for weddings and large parties, before being lured to South Africa and Tanzania to work as a menu consultant and train chefs at several exclusive safari lodges, including Garonga and Ant’s Nest in South Africa and Mwagusi in Tanzania. Annabel returned to London in 2010, relishing the stimulating and fast-paced food and design scene on offer, and has enjoyed events catering ever since.
